Purpose of the educational program:

Training of specialists in the field of design, development, implementation and maintenance of information technologies and systems for solving national and regional problems in IT market, as well as for integration into the global IT business environment.

The objects of professional activity:

Information processes, technologies, systems and networks, their instrumental (software, technical, organizational) support, methods and methods of designing, debugging, production and operation of information technologies and systems in the activities of organizations of various forms of ownership, industry and business

The areas of professional activity of graduates:

• Design, development, implementation and maintenance of information systems for various purposes;
• Corporate information systems management, IT project management;
• Solving problems of digitalization of production, setting tasks, maintaining the operability and quality management of information systems.

Professional activities:

• Pre-project survey (engineering) of the design object, system analysis of the subject area, their interrelations;
• Development and implementation of technologies for objects of professional activity at enterprises of various profiles and all types of activities in the information society economy;
• Development of information technology implementation tools (methodological, informational, mathematical, algorithmic, technical and software);
• Organization of workplaces, their technical equipment, placement of computer equipment;
• Research and development activities, installation and adjustment activities, service and maintenance activities.

Graduates of "6B06101-Information systems" can hold the position of system analyst; software designer; software maintenance specialist; database administrator; software designer, mobile application developer; business analyst in the field of IT, programmer analyst, it project Manager.

They actively participate in international research competitions, in the National WorldSkills competence championship "IT solutions for business".

According to the results of the Republican subject Olympiads and the Republican research and development competition, students take prizes.

They participate in competitions for final qualifying works at the regional and national levels.

After graduation, the student is awarded an academic degree in the field of bachelor of information and communication technologies under the educational program "6B06101-Information systems".

Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies in the master's program of EKSTU in the specialty "7M06101-Information systems".
