The project “School-University“

Since 2017, the School-Higher Education Project has started, coordinated by the Regional Center for New Technologies in Education. Within the framework of this project, an agreement was reached and a step-by-step plan for cooperation between the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan region, EKSTU them. D.Serikbaev and the Regional specialized school-lyceum for children gifted in the field of mathematics, physics and computer science (SSLSLMFI) #25, lyceum #44 named after Oralkhan Bokei. To date, students SSLSLMFI number 25, lyceum # 44 named after Oralkhan Bokeya visit "Saturday universities", where the teachers of the Department of Information Technologies teach them on the subject "Programming". In four months schoolchildren of Oralkhan Bokei Lyceum # 44  showed their scientific projects realized under the guidance of the faculty of the department, at the IT-festival "IT Education - Step into the Future".

To date, more than 20 students have completed the "Programming" courses, where they had the opportunity to acquire practical skills in developing software products.

To date, the project has training and research laboratories; the integration of curricula and information resources; The functional responsibilities of all project participants are defined. Professional interaction of teachers of the department will enable students to improve their knowledge of information technology.

Activities for schoolchildren

Under the direction of the faculty of the department of school students SSLSLMFI number 25, lyceum № 44 named. Oralhana Bokei in 2017 took part in the following events:

• IT-festival "IT-education - a step into the future", in which creative projects in the field of information technologies and scientific and technical direction of schoolchildren were presented;
• MNC "Creativity of young people - innovative development of Kazakhstan", which was held at the EKSTU named after. D.Serikbayeva in April 2017.

In 2017, on the basis of the "Information Technologies" department, the regional foresight seminar "Bolashama mamandary" was held. The participants included heads of the Paradise (mountains) of the PA, heads of methodical offices, deputy directors for educational work, responsible specialists supervising the project "I-Engineer" "Bolashaқ mamandary" and "Multimedia Journalism", teachers of computer science, physics, mathematics, Kazakh and Russian languages. The seminar was aimed at developing engineering competencies in the following areas: "Programming", "Electronics and mechatronics", "3D modeling and prototyping". The basis of foresight is the joint work of the seminar participants - the "map of the future". On the "map of the future" with the help of the moderator, foresight participants place a step-by-step development plan, gradually creating a map of future IT competencies.
