Double diploma educational programs of EKSTU and NRNU MEPhI

The delegation from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI headed by vice-rector Tatiyana Leonova visited D.Serikbayev East Kazakhstan state technical university in August, 2019. The visit resulted in signing Agreements of joint (double-diploma) educational programs for bachelor course and master course, as well as the supplement agreement about development of joint educational program “Physics and chemistry of materials and processes”. The students of the following specialties can participate in this JEP: “Innovative methods of Uranium production”, «Materials for nuclear engineering», «Technical physics», «Metallurgy», «Life Safety and Environment Protection», «Innovative safety management of natural and man-made emergencies».

In September 111 students went through entrance testing, and 64 of them were recommended for enrolling to JEP. After providing all the necessary documents 53 EKSTU students were enrolled to National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. They arrived in Moscow in the period from 1-7 of October and started their studies at NRNU MEPhI according to the JEP schedule.

• World skills trend development.
• Analysis and monitoring of demanded competences.
• Training of the teams for participation in the competitions within the frameworks of atomskills via national centers.
• Interaction at university level including usage of laboratory equipment and providing the opportunity to train joint Worldskills teams and teams from certain countries.
