Committee on Youth Affairs

Supreme Advisor The Committee on Youth Affairs of the D.Serikbayev CGTU is a structural unit of the Department for Socio-Cultural Activities and Youth Policy.

The Committee was established to provide comprehensive support for the interests of student youth, as well as to exercise its powers in the field of youth policy. The purpose of the Youth Affairs Committee is to form students' civic engagement, promote the development of their social maturity, ability to self-organize and self-development.

The Youth Committee also provides support for students from underrepresented groups, including those based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, and other groups.

The Youth Affairs Committee carries out its activities in the following areas:

1. social policy and volunteer programs;
2. information and media services;
3. innovative development and intellectual programs;
4. sports and wellness programs;
5. legal knowledge and anti-corruption culture;
6. creative and leisure programs, debate projects.
