- Social benefits for pregnancy and childbirth, for the adoption of newborn children are paid from the funds of the State Compulsory Social Insurance Fund.
- Social benefits for temporary disability are paid to employees from the first day of disability until the day of restoration of disability, determined according to the disability sheets, or until the disability is established.
- The basis for the payment of social benefits for temporary disability are disability certificates issued in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- The amount of the monthly allowance for temporary disability may not exceed fifteen times the monthly calculation index (MCI). If temporary disability occurs during the period of stay on annual paid labor leave and on leave without pay, the benefit is not accrued, the vacation time is extended for the period of disability.
- The employer shall release employees from performing their work duties for the time of their involvement in state and public duties in cases provided for by the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- An employee who is a donor retains his place of work (position) and average salary for the time of examination and blood donation.
- During the business trip, the employee retains his place of work (position) and salary.
- The employer makes compensation payments in connection with the loss of work in the amount of the average monthly salary in the following cases:
- upon termination of the employment contract at the initiative of the employer in case of liquidation of the employer - legal entity;
- upon termination of the employment contract at the initiative of the employer in case of reduction of the number or staff of employees;
- upon termination of the employment contract due to the employee reaching retirement age.
The Administration provides the following social benefits provides the following benefits:
- Payment from the social support fund, on the recommendation of the collective and the support of the Trade Union Committee, to employees who have worked conscientiously at the university for at least 10 years and actively participated in the social life of labor collectives upon reaching retirement age, remuneration in the amount of at least official salary;
- Assistance in organizing funerals in the event of the death of an employee and close relatives (husband, wife, children, parents), as well as the allocation of financial assistance in the amount of the official salary in the event of the death of an employee, in the event of the death of the next of kin - at least 10 monthly calculation indices. - Payment to an employee who has at least 10 years of work experience in EKSTU, material assistance in the amount of salary upon termination of an employment contract due to the onset of disability (if there is a medical report).
- Assistance in organizing funerals in case of death of lonely retired veterans of the university and the allocation of financial assistance in the amount of at least 10 MCI.
- Providing one of the employees-parents whose child is a family member and a successful student of EKSTU (receiving the first higher education) or students of the college of EKSTU with a discount on tuition fees for each semester in the amount of:
- 10% - with 3 to 10 years of work experience at the university;
- 15% - with 10 to 20 years of work experience at the university;
- 20% - with more than 20 years of work experience at the university.
- Providing university employees with transport on weekends for collective events and country trips on vacation, with payment at cost.
- The maintenance of the health center and the purchase of necessary medicines to provide pre-medical and emergency care to employees.
- Provision of a part of paid work leave or leave without pay in the following cases:
- for the period of the session, students studying by correspondence, provided they receive their first professional education (upon application);
- in connection with the marriage of the employees themselves and their children — up to 5 calendar days;
- in the case of the birth of a child (spouse) - up to 5 calendar days;
- parents with primary school children - 1 day (September 1);
- in other cases, by agreement between the employee and the employer.
- Providing employees with one paid working day per year to undergo a screening examination in the field (if the employee falls into the specified age groups).
- Annual inclusion in the cost estimate of extra-budgetary funds the necessary amount to maintain the SOL "Prostor" named after A.K. Sidorov in working condition (repair, purchase of inventory, etc.);
- Determination of the cost of vouchers based on the cost estimates for the maintenance of the SOL "Prostor" and the distribution of vouchers in agreement with the Trade Unions;
- Allocation of funds for mass cultural and sports events:
- organization of cultural leisure of teachers, staff and their children (holding a New Year's Eve, a children's Christmas tree, March 8, Nauryz, etc.);
- holding a Sports Contest of teaching staff and employees;
- encouragement of WWII veterans for the May 9 holiday;
- Afghan soldiers by February 15;
- R encouragement of EKSTU pensioners for the Day of the Elderly.
Trade unions allocate funds for cultural events and health improvement of employees within the amounts established by the estimates of the trade union organization for the corresponding calendar year.
Trade unions undertake to:
- One of the parents raising a disabled child from childhood, disabled, to provide financial assistance in the amount of 10 MCI.
- To provide financial assistance in case of purchase of children's health vouchers to recreation camps for one child) in the amount of 5 MCI.
- To provide financial assistance to employees with 4 or more children (minors, schoolchildren and students) for one of the parents - 10 MCI.
- To provide financial assistance in case of a serious and prolonged illness (operation) of an employee - 10 MCI; or family members — spouses, dependent children - 8 MCI.
- Provide financial assistance to low-income employees (income per family member is not more than the subsistence minimum), one of the spouses, if there are supporting documents - (10 MCI).
- Provide financial assistance in case of death of an employee - 10 MCI to relatives.
- To provide financial assistance in case of death of close relatives (husband, wife, children, parents) - 8 MCI.
- To carry out regular public control over the operation of the university's catering facilities.
- Jointly with the services of the University to organize festive events:
- Victory Day,
- Senior Citizen's Day,
- New Year, March 8, Nauryz, etc.,
- To take part in the preparation of a sports and recreation camp “Prostor” for the opening of the holiday season.
