Accreditation

Accreditation: the process by which the accreditation body assesses the quality of the university’s activities as a whole or of individual educational programs of the university in order to recognize their compliance with certain standards and criteria.

Undergoing accreditation contributes to:

• improving the quality of educational activities;
• enhancing educational programs based on the recommendations of external experts;
• increasing the transparency and openness of the university’s activities;
• taking into account the interests of students, employers, and other stakeholders;
• fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement;
• increasing the national and international recognition of educational programs.

The University undergoes institutional and specialized (program) accreditation.

Institutional accreditation - a procedure for assessment by an accreditation body of the effectiveness of the processes of the internal quality assurance system in an educational organization in accordance with the declared status and established standards (regulations) of accreditation.

Specialized (program) accreditation - a procedure for assessing the quality of individual educational programs implemented by an educational organization.
