Professional sphere:
The field of professional activity of a graduate of the master's degree includes research and design and production related to obtaining measuring spatial information about the Earth's surface, its subsoil, objects of outer space, mapping the Earth's surface or its individual territories on plans and maps; implementation of coordinate-time binding of objects, phenomena and processes on the Earth's surface and in the surrounding space space, building digital terrain models; organization of work on the collection and dissemination of spatial data both on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a whole and in its individual regions in order to develop infrastructure. |

The object of professional occupation:
The objects of professional activity of a graduate who has mastered the master's degree program are the surface of the Earth, other planets and their satellites, territorial and administrative formations, artificial and natural objects on the surface and inside the Earth and other planets, as well as near-Earth outer space, geodynamic phenomena and processes, gravitational, electromagnetic and other physical fields. |

Functions of professional occupation:
- conducting work on the introduction of modern technologies and geodetic information systems into production; - processing of space and aerial photogrammetric survey materials, field logs using computer programs; - preparation of topographic maps in digital form using geodetic information systems and programs for processing graphic images; - construction of a photogrammetric terrain model based on aerial photographs at a stereo digital photogrammetric station; - carrying out geodetic surveys in solving various engineering and technical problems arising during the construction of facilities, structures, communication routes, main pipelines, as well as exploration and extraction of minerals, geophysical surveys and exploration. |
