Objective
  • Have an idea: about the International transport classification of goods and the classification applied on motor transport. Know: rules of filling of transportation documents; security measures when transporting; be able to: determine the norms of natural loss various types of goods; arrange the documentation for the transportation of goods; to calculate the number of loading units in the transport container in accordance with the standard sizes; count the number of containers and pallets to transport a given volume of cargo; use the rules of calculation of terms of delivery.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
  • Students during the study of the discipline are acquainted with the various classifications of goods transported by different modes of transport, the rules of filling the contract, commodity-transport and transportation documentation; the concepts of natural loss and the norms of its calculation, the concepts of delivery time, the rules of marking goods and selection of manipulation signs.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
  • The student should know the principles of classification and structure of goods, to be able to apply their knowledge and skills in practice, should be able to assess possible options for the handling and transportation of different cargo types to know and be able to identify labeling and how it can be applied, make a selection of rolling stock for a particular type of cargo, determine the amount of natural loss of goods, pick up the identification signs in accordance with the qualities of the goods to calculate the number of containers and pallets to transport a given volume of cargo, to be able to use the rules of calculation of terms of delivery of goods to be able to fill in various documentation related to the transportation of goods.
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
  • The ability to use knowledge related to the basic provisions used in the study of modern transport systems.
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
  • As a result of studying the discipline, the student must combine deep professional training with the ability to apply and implement at the modern level fundamentally new scientific, industrial and organizational solutions for the organization of transportation of any cargo.
Learning outcome: learning skills or learning abilities
  • Acquisition of skills in handling modern equipment, the ability to use the knowledge gained in the future profession or further training in the master's degree
