Description: The description of new materials used in modern engineering is given. Knowledge of the basic concepts of the course is necessary for the formation of a complex of knowledge and skills for the rational use in the given operating conditions of modern structural materials based on metals and alloys, polymers, ceramics and composites used in mechanical engineering.

  • The purpose of studying this discipline is to familiarize undergraduates with special technologies for the production of new construction materials and equipment.
