Interaction of radiation with matter
Description: This course examines theoretical foundations of various radiation types interaction (neutrons, electrons, ions, gamma quanta) with matter for classical, relativistic and quantum interactions. The goal is to learn modern physical concepts of interaction between high-energy particles with crystalline solids, basic laws of changes in characteristics of interacting particles and radiation damage of a solid.
