Assessment of the student's knowledge

Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

Excellent Good Satisfactory Unsatisfactory
Practical work The work is completed in full (90-100%), without errors and in compliance with the necessary sequence of actions; tables, figures, drawings, are executed accurately; analyses are performed without errors. In the work the student demonstrates the connection between the material learnt and previously learnt material, and also with the material learnt during the study of other disciplines. The work is completed in the volume of 70-89% . Fulfilled the requirements for evaluation "excellent", but admitted 2-3 shortcomings, which the student can correct independently or with a little help from the teacher. teacher. The work does not trace links with previously studied material and material learnt in the study of other disciplines. The work has not been completed The work is incomplete, but not less than 50 per cent of the practical work, which allows to obtain correct results and conclusions; in the course of carrying out the work mistakes were made mistakes. The learner correctly understands the essence of the task, but there are some problems in the assimilation of the issues of the course, not preventing further assimilation of the programme. hindering further learning of the programme material; made no more than one gross error and two mistakes The work is completed in full (90-100%), without errors and in compliance with the necessary sequence of actions; tables, figures, drawings, are executed accurately; analyses are performed without errors. In the work the student demonstrates the connection between the material learnt and previously learnt material, and also with the material learnt during the study of other disciplines.
Control work (combined tests) 90-100% дұрыс жауаптар. жұмысқа қойылады, орындалған жоқ қателер мен кемшіліктер. 70-89% correct answers. No more than no more than three deficiencies are allowed. 50-69% of correct answers. No more than four to five mistakes 90-100% дұрыс жауаптар.
The student presents the material correctly, logically and consistently, demonstrates good theoretical knowledge, conclusions and generalisations, gives examples, but at the same time makes minor errors, which are corrected independently or with minor correction by the teacher. Accompanies the material presented with competently constructed diagrams. In response to additional questions allows inaccuracies, corrected by the student with the help of the teacher. with the help of the teacher. The student demonstrates shallow theoretical knowledge, shows poorly formed skills of analysis, insufficient ability to make reasoned conclusions and give examples, shows insufficient fluency in terminology, makes mistakes that can be corrected only when corrected by the teacher. It is difficult to illustrate the presented material with schemes and sketches. abstract All the requirements for writing and defence of the essay are fulfilled: the problem is outlined and its relevance is justified, a brief analysis of various points of view on the problem under consideration is made and one's own position is logically stated, conclusions are formulated, the topic is fully disclosed, the volume is maintained, the requirements for external design are met, and correct answers to additional questions are given. The content of the topic is fully disclosed, and the work corresponds to the chosen topic, there are reasonable conclusions for each section; the work is designed correctly, there are insignificant stylistic errors; the work is done independently, all the selected literature is analysed and used in the work. The basic requirements for the abstract and its defence are fulfilled, but there are deficiencies. In particular, there are inaccuracies in the presentation of the material; there is no logical consistency in judgements; the volume of the abstract is not maintained; there are omissions in the design; incomplete answers to additional questions in the defence. The content of the work mainly corresponds to the topic or its volume is overestimated, the conclusions mainly correspond to the content of the section; the work is basically correct, there are insignificant stylistic and grammatical errors; the work was performed mainly independently, the literature was used There are significant deviations from the requirements and abstract. In particular, the topic is covered only partially; there are factual errors in the content of the abstract or in answering additional questions; there is no conclusion during the defence. The content of the work partially corresponds to the topic; conclusions are not made for all sections of the work or partially correspond to the content of the section, or there are no conclusions on the given data; the work is basically correct, there are significant stylistic and grammatical errors, there is carelessness in the design of the work: no margins, no numbering of pages, the work required constant assistance from the teacher, the literature was used partially. All the requirements for writing and defence of the essay are fulfilled: the problem is outlined and its relevance is justified, a brief analysis of various points of view on the problem under consideration is made and one's own position is logically stated, conclusions are formulated, the topic is fully disclosed, the volume is maintained, the requirements for external design are met, and correct answers to additional questions are given. Evaluation form

The student's final grade in the course is calculated on a 100 point grading scale, it includes:

  • 40% of the examination result;
  • 60% of current control result.

The final grade is calculated by the formula:

FG = 0,6 MT1+MT2 +0,4E
2

Where Midterm 1, Midterm 2are digital equivalents of the grades of Midterm 1 and 2;

E is a digital equivalent of the exam grade.

Final alphabetical grade and its equivalent in points:
