Goal
  • Training in practical knowledge of a foreign language for its active use in everyday communication.
Objective
  • Teaching a student a certain amount of language knowledge of ethno-cultural and universal character, implementation, humanization of training of a future technical specialist.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
  • Formation of a system of knowledge of national and cultural characteristics and realities of the country of the language being studied; Knowledge of the main linguistic phenomena, grammatical, and syntactic structures, lexical language units in a certain amount: - vocabulary: word-formation models, contextual meaning, lexical structure of language - grammar: the most frequent specific grammatical phenomena and basic natural-humanitarian and technical sublanguage. Understanding the main points of clear standard input on various topics, typically associated with work, school, leisure time, etc.
Learning outcome: applying knowledge and understanding
  • Application of the acquired knowledge when communicating in most everyday situations that typically occur at work, school, leisure, etc. or while staying in the country of the language being studied; in oral and written communication, when working with literature in a foreign language.
Learning outcome: formation of judgments
  • Forming critical judgments in a particular area of knowledge in a foreign language in: dialogic speech-communication in most situations that occur during the stay in the country of the language being studied; participation without prior training in dialogues on a familiar / interesting topic (for example, "family", "hobby", "work", "travel", "current events"). monologue speech – building simple coherent statements about their personal impressions, events, their dreams, hopes and desires; brief justification and explanation of their views and intentions; a statement of the story or plot of a book or movie and an expression of one's attitude to it. Writing - writing simple connected texts on familiar or interesting topics; letters of a personal nature, informing them about their personal experiences and impressions.
Learning outcome: communicative abilities
  • The ability to participate in a conversation; explain yourself with a certain number of pauses and descriptive expressions on topics such as family, Hobbies, pastimes, work, travel, and current events. Ability to accurately use a set of constructs associated with familiar, regularly occurring situations. The ability to speak clearly, despite the fact that pauses for searching for grammatical and lexical means are noticeable, especially in statements of considerable length. The ability to start, maintain, and end a one-on-one conversation if the topics of discussion are familiar or individually relevant.
