Goal
  • The main purpose of the discipline is to give students a system of knowledge about emergency situations: disasters, destruction, loss of life. The essence of the necessary knowledge about possible natural phenomena in the country and abroad, their features, rules of conduct and a measure of protection.
Objective
  • The task of studying the discipline "Theoretical foundations of life safety" is to gain knowledge about: - dangerous and emergency situations of the environment of natural, man-made and social origin; - organization of protection of the population and territories in peacetime and wartime;-legal, regulatory, technical and organizational bases of life safety.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
  • The student must possess: - the main methods of individual and collective protection of life and health in natural disasters. - demonstrate the ability and willingness to implement educational programs in subjects in accordance with the requirements of educational standards - - possess psychological, pedagogical, medical, biological, organizational and managerial knowledge and skills necessary for teaching the basics of safe behavior and improving physical and mental qualities of life safety

  • Discipline ' Theoretical foundations of life safety The program is designed to form students ' conscious and responsible attitude to personal safety issues, to acquire knowledge and skills to see and evaluate dangerous situations, as well as harmful factors of the human environment, to determine ways to protect themselves from them, as well as to eliminate negative consequences and provide self - and mutual assistance. Due to the specific nature of its focus, this discipline is aimed at acquiring students ' knowledge and skills of a number of physical and psychological qualities necessary for adaptation to modern environmental conditions.
