Description: The discipline is devoted to the study of a complex of issues related to the promotion, transfer and commercial use of information about technology. The subject of its study is the essence of technology transfer, its types and stages of implementation, registration (patent licensing) and legal aspects of the transfer of patents for technological inventions, organizational forms of interaction between participants (agents) of the technology market.

Goal
  • development of students' knowledge of the basics of technology transfer and the ability to critically evaluate information, mastering the skills of performing a set of tasks related to the search, evaluation, transfer and further support of science-intensive developments, development of skills in choosing methods and means for developing effective mechanisms for implementing the transfer of scientific research results.
Objective
  • mastering theoretical knowledge about the essence and objectives of the process of transferring the results of scientific research;
  • mastering the methodology of transferring the results of scientific research;
  • familiarization with the possibilities of using software products and specialized computer analytical and simulating systems to analyze the performance of the subjects of technological transfer;
  • developing practical skills in transferring the results of scientific research and presenting high-tech projects;
  • developing skills in modeling the transfer of the results of scientific research.

Assessment of the student's knowledge

Teacher oversees various tasks related to ongoing assessment and determines students' current performance twice during each academic period. Ratings 1 and 2 are formulated based on the outcomes of this ongoing assessment. The student's learning achievements are assessed using a 100-point scale, and the final grades P1 and P2 are calculated as the average of their ongoing performance evaluations. The teacher evaluates the student's work throughout the academic period in alignment with the assignment submission schedule for the discipline. The assessment system may incorporate a mix of written and oral, group and individual formats.

  • 60% of current control result.
