Physics and technology of sintering
Description: In-depth theoretical course on solid-, liquid- and gas-phase mass transfer of matter in the sintering processes of powdery materials. Attention is focused on the driving forces of mass transfer processes, threshold and non-threshold mechanisms and kinetics of processes. The material on methods of activation of sintering processes is systematized. The method of calculating the diffusion mobility of substances depending on the regulations of thermal treatment is given.
