Physical and geological modeling of geological environments based on seismic data
Description: The course covers the principles of physico-geological modeling of geological environments using seismic data; methods of volumetric research considering new geological, formation, and structural models; and physico-geological modeling techniques for resource assessment. The course also discusses standard models for studying structural-metallogenic, structural-ore-bearing multifactorial, and geological-genetic systems, incorporating seismic data. Additionally, students will acquire skills in constructing mathematical and numerical models to analyze the stress-strain state of the Earth's crust, predict displacements, collapses, deformations, and other geodynamic phenomena, all in the context of ensuring technospheric safety. The course also enables the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and artificial intelligence in modeling seismological processes.
