Goal
  • The formation of students' knowledge and practical skills in engineering the stability of mountain ranges and structures, the development of monitoring methods for the timely identification and prevention of geomechanical risks.
Objective
  • Familiarization with the basics of engineering support is the study of methods for calculating and designing safe structures and technological solutions. The study of monitoring methods is the development of technologies for monitoring the stress–strain state of mountain ranges and soils. Working with instrumental systems is the study and application of instruments for measuring deformations, seismic activity, pressure and other parameters. Data processing and analysis – interpretation of information from sensors, forecasting geomechanical changes. The use of monitoring to prevent accidents is the development of early warning systems for collapses, landslides and other dangerous processes. Development of scientific research skills is the study and application of modern engineering and monitoring technologies in real projects.
