Materials science in nuclear power engineering
Description: The course is aimed at studying the properties, behavior, and application of materials in nuclear energy. The course covers the resistance of materials to radiation and high temperatures, as well as their role in the design and operation of nuclear facilities. As a result of completing the course, students acquire the knowledge necessary to select and evaluate materials used in nuclear energy, taking into account their resistance to extreme condition.
