Description: The discipline is aimed at studying the conversion of thermal energy of steam into mechanical and electrical energy. The course covers the principles of operation and design of turbine installations at nuclear power plants, as well as their efficiency, safety, and automation. As a result of mastering the discipline, students acquire knowledge necessary to assess the operation of turbine installations, ensure their efficiency and safety, and apply automation methods in their operation.
