Nuclear reactors
Description: The course is aimed at studying the operating principles and design of various types of nuclear reactors. It covers nuclear fission processes, chain reaction control, heat generation, cooling systems, as well as safety issues, reactor process monitoring, and analysis of operational modes. Upon completion of the course, students acquire the knowledge necessary to understand the functioning of nuclear reactors and to ensure their efficient and safe operation.
