Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Radioactive Waste Management
Description: The course covers the stages of nuclear fuel management - from its production and use in reactors to reprocessing and disposal. It examines technologies for handling radioactive waste, methods of storage and disposal, as well as safety issues at all stages of the cycle. Upon completion of the course, students acquire the knowledge necessary for analyzing, organizing, and safely carrying out operations involving nuclear fuel and radioactive waste at all stages of the nuclear fuel cycle.
