Basic elements of mechanical systems
Description: The discipline provides an idea of mechanical systems, their typical units and basic structural elements, introduces students to their classification and nomenclature. Students study the scientific foundations of constructing mechanisms from typical units and basic structural elements, methods for studying the kinematics and dynamics of mechanisms, methods for determining loads on their structural elements and analyzing their strength, stability and endurance. As a result of training, students acquire the skills and abilities of designing and engineering mechanical devices, assessing the performance of structural elements

Goal
- The purpose of studying the discipline is to develop students' knowledge of the methods of studying mechanical systems, to acquire skills and abilities in designing mechanisms and calculating the strength, stability and endurance of structural elements.

- develop a model and design of mechanisms, analyze their kinematics and dynamics; determine load conditions in the units and elements of mechanisms, select the necessary basic design elements, evaluate their performance according to the criteria of strength, stability and endurance
