Description: The discipline is aimed at studying modern methods of applying metal and ceramic coatings used in metallurgy to protect equipment from aggressive environments and high temperatures, taking into account environmental safety. Attention is paid to environmentally friendly technologies, reducing emissions and preventing environmental pollution. The fundamentals of the interaction of the coating and the substrate, the mechanisms of adhesion, cohesion and kinetics of processes that ensure the reliability of layers and the durability of equipment are considered. The discipline forms sustainable solutions that minimize the impact of production on human health and the environment.
