Description: The discipline studies the chemical properties, classification and mechanisms of action of flotation reagents used in mineral processing. The technologies of production, application and dosing of collectors, foaming agents, modifiers and other reagents are considered. Special attention is paid to the interaction of reagents with minerals, the choice of reagent regimes and environmental aspects of the use of flotation reagents.
