Fundamentals of Engineering Thermodynamics
Description: The discipline provides students with fundamental knowledge of technical thermodynamics for analyzing and solving engineering problems in the field of thermal power engineering. The course examines the physical properties of bodies, the laws and characteristics of thermodynamics, thermodynamic processes, phase transitions, gas mixtures, as well as calculation methods and conditions of thermodynamic equilibrium of complex systems. Students master mathematical analysis methods, learn to identify the physical essence of processes in devices, and apply theoretical and experimental research methods to create new technological solutions in the thermal power industry.
