Structural systems of buildings and finishing materials
Description: The theoretical part examines the main structural systems and layouts of buildings; types of load-bearing elements that absorb loads and impacts, their relationship, requirements for structures, operating conditions, prospects for use in conjunction with the construction and decorative finishing materials used. Practical classes develop skills in reading and depicting architectural and structural drawings; the selection of finishing materials is carried out, the variability of technological solutions is considered on the basis of artistic, aesthetic, economic, constructive and technological criteria.

Goal
- acquisition of theoretical knowledge about structural systems and building plans, used decorative and finishing materials; practical skills in reading and preparing architectural and construction drawings; preparation of proposals for artistic, aesthetic, constructive and technological solutions for finishing the interiors and exteriors of civil buildings.
Objective
- learn to determine the design schemes of buildings, the decorative solutions used and the finishing materials used;
- study the structural parts of the building, the modular systems used, building products, architectural and structural elements and decorative and finishing materials;
- master the techniques of reading and performing architectural and construction drawings, selecting finishing materials.
