Description: The course develops students’ systematic understanding of modern approaches to ensuring occupational safety and reducing negative environmental impacts. During the course, legal, organizational, and technical measures aimed at preventing occupational risks and environmental violations are examined, along with the principles of sustainable development, the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies, and the formation of a safety culture in the workplace. As a result of completing the course, students gain knowledge and practical skills in occupational safety, environmental sustainability, and risk management at industrial sites.

Goal
- The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of current trends and priorities in the field of occupational safety and environmental protection. The training is aimed at developing the skills to identify, assess and minimize industrial and environmental risks. The discipline also contributes to the formation of a responsible attitude towards safety and sustainable development in enterprises.
Objective
- The discipline "Main directions of development of occupational safety and Environmental Protection" is aimed at forming students' systematic understanding of modern approaches to ensuring occupational safety and environmental sustainability. The main objectives are to study the regulatory framework, methods for assessing and managing occupational risks, as well as to develop skills in designing measures to reduce negative impacts on employees and the environment. In addition, the discipline contributes to the formation of environmental and industrial responsibility among future specialists.
Learning outcome: knowledge and understanding
- As a result of studying the discipline, the student should know the basic regulations and international standards in the field of occupational safety and environmental protection. He must understand modern methods of assessing and managing production risks, as well as the principles of introducing environmentally sound technologies in the enterprise. The student is also aware of the importance of integrating occupational safety and environmental safety for sustainable development and the preservation of workers' health and the environment.

- As a result of studying the discipline, the student will be able to apply the regulatory requirements and standards of occupational safety and the environment in the development and implementation of measures to reduce occupational risks. He will be able to analyze production processes in order to identify environmental and sanitary threats and develop recommendations for their elimination. In addition, the student will be able to participate in the creation of occupational health and environmental safety management systems at the enterprise to ensure sustainable and safe production.
