Information Technologies of Biomedical Research
Description: Basic information technologies used in medical institutions and research work in medicine and biology. Students apply and evaluate information wave technologies used in medicine, and also use computer diagnostics using existing infocommunication systems. The course includes a description of non-traditional diagnostic systems and explains how modern computer technologies are used to treat human diseases.

- The purpose of the discipline: to form knowledge about modern information technologies used in science and various industries to improve the quality of research and products.
Objective
- Tasks of the discipline: - study of the basic information technologies used in various branches of science and industry, primarily related to medicine. - study of the features of various computer technologies used in science and production; - acquisition of skills in the development of new information technologies, especially those used in medicine. - study of the main tools used in the development of information technologies; - study of quality assurance of information technologies being developed; - acquisition of skills in the use of basic management tools in practical activities in the development of new information technologies. - acquisition of skills in determining the necessary documentation for the creation and certification of new information technologies.
