Methods and Means of Telemedicine
Description: Studying the basics of telemedicine, as well as the features of the information society and information resources. The course examines the procedure for organizing and providing medical care using telemedicine technologies, as well as the requirements for telemedicine systems. Students conduct telemedicine consultations and study medical information systems. They prepare to predict and explain how these systems function, illustrate how they work, solve problems associated with telemedicine, and experiment with new technologies.

- Tasks: - to reveal the concepts, theoretical foundations and stages of formation and development of a new direction of Internet technologies of telemedicine; - to study the main types of telemedicine services; - consider the means of transmitting telemedicine information; - to show the prospects for the development of new information technologies and their application in practical healthcare and medical education.
