Metallurgy and technology of precious metals
Description: The discipline is devoted to the study of metallurgical processes for obtaining precious metals, taking into account modern safety and environmental requirements. The physicochemical principles of enrichment, cyanidation, precipitation and refining of gold and silver, as well as methods for extracting metals from refractory ores and concentrates are considered. The technologies for processing platinum group metals and directions for their sustainable development are covered.
