EcoBoom is a socio-environmental startup by the EKTU Enactus team focused on collecting and recycling waste paper and cardboard boxes. The project addresses the massive accumulation of paper waste generated by pizzerias and marketplace pickup points, preventing it from ending up in city landfills and thereby reducing environmental pollution.
The initiative promotes the development of a circular economy by returning paper products to secondary use. In addition to its environmental focus, the project fulfills a crucial social mission: it trains students in recycling technologies and provides them with an opportunity to earn a stable supplementary income while studying.
The project offers students an excellent platform to develop skills in green entrepreneurship, seamlessly combining environmental care with real economic efficiency. EcoBoom demonstrates that sustainable solutions can be not only beneficial for the planet but also financially rewarding for the university community.
