SoRRRtify is an EKTU student startup featuring an educational game designed for environmental awareness. The project includes a set of unique educational cards focused on waste sorting. The main highlight of the product is its material: the cards are made from recycled plastic using 3D printing filament produced directly at our university. The developed game has officially received copyright registration.
The project addresses the challenge of fostering an eco-friendly culture and conscious consumption through an interactive format. The game visually teaches the rules of separate waste collection, thereby popularizing the principles of the circular economy and environmental care among youth and schoolchildren.
This development provides students with valuable hands-on experience across a full production cycle: from recycling plastic waste into 3D printing materials to creating a finished product and protecting intellectual property. SoRRRtify proves that recycled plastic can be more than just secondary raw material-it can be an excellent tool for environmental education.
