SOS Novel is a student startup developed at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, aimed at improving the safety and emergency support of people with disabilities. The project focuses on creating an innovative solution that enables users to quickly send an emergency alert and share their location in critical situations.
The project's main objective is to help people with disabilities receive timely assistance, increase their independence, and enhance confidence in everyday mobility and daily activities. By applying modern digital technologies, SOS Novel contributes to the development of a safer and more inclusive society.
The project was recognized at the Pizza Pitch 2024 student startup competition, where it received 4th place and was awarded a 50,000 KZT certificate. SOS Novel highlights the innovative potential of EKTU students in developing socially impactful technologies that improve quality of life and support inclusive communities.
