About the course
To form students' basic knowledge and practical skills on the laws of motion and equilibrium of liquids, as well as their application in engineering practice — in the design of hydraulic structures, water supply systems, sanitation and transportation of liquids.
The course is intended for students of technical fields: construction, road construction, water management and utility engineering specialties.
Hydraulics is the basis of engineering systems involved in the sustainable development of the urban environment, water resources and infrastructure. Knowledge of hydraulics is necessary to adapt to modern challenges related to climate change, water flow management and modernization of engineering structures.
