At the column hall of EKSTU there was held a working meeting with the participation of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev and the heads of several ministries and departments. Scientists of the University presented the research and development proposed to be implemented jointly with leading industrial enterprises of East Kazakhstan region.

In the framework of this meeting, there was signed the agreement on scientific – technical cooperation between the JSC "Kazatomprom" and D.Serikbayev EKSTU.

The Prime Minister noted that the competitiveness of products of domestic industrial enterprises is impossible without the innovation component and therefore this work should continue and develop.

The head of the Ministers’ Cabinet also held a meeting with entrepreneurs on measures to cardinally improve the business environment and to support domestic producers.
