On the 15th and 16th of March, the 9th Horizon 2020 conference was held in Düsseldorf (Germany) under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Culture of the North Rhine-Westphalia ("Successful R&I in Europe: 9th European Networking Event").

Representatives from 34 countries of Europe and the world took part in the work of this conference. On March 15, the student of the 4th year of EKSTU, Anna Seraya, presented the topic: "Development and industrial application of medical implants from magnesium alloys". And on March 16, prof. of EKSTU, Darya Alontseva, presented the topic: "Development and industrial application of medical implants from Titanium and Ti-Ta-Nb alloys".

Dr. Kurtzman, representative of the University of Bonn in the countries of Central Asia, noted that both presentations were excellent and many European conference participants were pleasantly surprised by the presentation of A. Seraya and D. Alonzeva, which were made in good English. The scientific equipment of the EKSTU was also noted at a high level.
