Graduates of road building faculty 1985 year gathered in D. Serikbayev EKSTU to celebrate the 30th year anniversary since the day of university graduation. Among them were the chairman of the Auto roads Committee of the Ministry on investments and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Mereke Pshembayev, Vice-President of JSC "K-Dorstroy" – Serik Ramazanov, Director of LTD "Virtgen" in Kazakhstan and Central Asia – Amangeldy Yelgonov and other graduates. The Rector of D. Serikbayev EKSTU – Zhassulan Shaimardanov, General Director of RSE “Kazakhavtodor” – Serik Aktanov, the head of sub-department “Economic theory and market” – Yuriy Batalov, senior lecturer of sub-department “Construction of buildings, facilities and transport communications” – Vladimir Savchenko also took part in the event.

The talk with headship and professors of EKSTU was after excursion in the main building of the university. And there was noted that most graduates of “EKSTU-BRI” became successful people, highly qualified specialists, they stay faithful to their chosen specialty and successfully apply in job received at the university knowledge. They are professionals and they do not lose touch with their native university.

- Every time visiting home walls of our university, we discuss happened positive changes and sincerely rejoice the improving of the material and technical base, updating textbooks, purchasing of ultra-modern laboratory equipment – Mereke Pshembayev pointed out. - We try to take part in the life of the university, to help development its image.

In the discussion was emphasized that high-quality training of engineers in the sphere of construction of roads had always been at the university. Currently, this profession is very needed in the country. And now, graduates acting as the employers are willing to help to the University in the training of young staff in the specialty "Transport construction" with their subsequent employment.
