Four scientists of D. Serikbayev EKSTU became winners of the contest of innovative projects "Green technologies" that was held in the framework of international exhibition "Oskemen EXPO-2015". In four categories from different cities of Kazakhstan were accepted 44 applications on the contest. The authors of the contest projects were University students, scientists-inventors, as well as in the nomination of "Oskemen EXPO-Junior-2015" - pupils and college students. According to the results of the contest, four certificates for the best innovative projects were awarded to scientists of D.Serikbayev EKSTU!

In the section "Clean technologies in traditional and alternative energy" the best project "Use of resources of the East Kazakhstan region for the production of energy-efficient fertilizer element" was recognized, the author of which is the candidate of physics-mathematical sciences, the head of D.Serikbayev EKSTU, "Instrument Engineering and Technology Automation" sub-department - Alexander Baklanov. The leaders of sections of "Green technologies in the mining industry" were two projects: "Industrial production of the modernized apparatus "breathing exerciser BMA" of the candidate of biological sciences, the docent of D.Serikbayev EKSTU, "Life Defense and Environment Protection" sub-department - Tamara Bondareva and "Manufacturing technology of fiber from technogenic wastes" the candidate of technical sciences, the docent of D.Serikbayev EKSTU "Technological Machines and Equipment" sub-department - Andrey Vavilov. 

In section "Eco-tourism. Sustainable development of the region and tourism" was recognized the best project of the senior teacher of D.Serikbayev EKSTU, "Geodesy, land surveying and cadastre" sub-department - Marzhan Toguzova - "Development of geographical information provision system of tourist routes for goals of the geotouristic industry development in East Kazakhstan region".
