For each of us this day is special. The previous academic year was very productive for the EKSTU. Our University took the 4th place in the National Ranking of 2016 among technical universities of Kazakhstan, conducted by the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for quality assurance in education and this has significantly improved its position compared to last year.

Rating for our University is an important tool for monitoring the quality activities; it allows assessing the competitiveness of our University among other technical universities, helps to implement marketing activities on the market of educational services. The Prime Minister Karim Massimov held in our University an important meeting on the research developments of EKSTUscientists with scientific organizations and industrial enterprises of East Kazakhstan region.
