At D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, Nauryz was celebrated this year in a unique format — “DIGITAL NAURYZ – 2026,” bringing together traditions, technology, and people into a unified cultural space.

The main idea of the celebration was the unity and cohesion of the entire university community. Different generations, teams, and departments came together, strengthening the sense of belonging to one large university family. The ethno-villages: “JETI TIREK – ULY BIRLIK,” “TAMYR & TECH,” “YNTYMAQ ORDASY,” “QALYNDYQ AUYLY,” “DIGITAL EARTH,” and the creative venue “BETASHAR INNOVATION HALL” became symbols of solidarity, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to development.

The celebration became not only a cultural event but also an effective platform for strengthening corporate spirit. Employees, students, and guests actively interacted, participated in traditional ceremonies, shared customs, and created an atmosphere of open dialogue and collaboration.

The event was honored by the presence of the university leadership, representatives of the Akimat of the East Kazakhstan Region, including the Head of the Department of Internal Policy, deputies of the Regional Maslikhat, veterans, representatives of the AMANAT Party, partner enterprises, and public organizations. Their participation highlighted the importance of building a shared value system not only within the university but also across the region.

Each ethno-village became a point of attraction, where traditions were presented through modern formats — from traditional ceremonies to digital solutions. This offered a new perspective on the national heritage and made it an integral part of contemporary corporate culture.

The concert program, theatrical performances, and performances by creative groups further strengthened the atmosphere of unity, inspiration, and collective engagement.

On the eve of the celebration, the university also marked a significant achievement — receiving a 5-Star rating in the international QS Stars system, which became an additional symbol of sustainable development and continuous progress.

“DIGITAL NAURYZ – 2026” became a vivid example of how traditions can unite people, fostering a strong corporate culture and inspiring new achievements.
