The School of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence organized and held an Open Day titled “Digital Spring: A Territory of Spring Opportunities”, which brought together school students from the East Kazakhstan region interested in modern technologies, engineering, and future professions.
From the very first minutes of the event, volunteers welcomed the guests and helped students register, as well as take part in an interactive contest — subscribing to the university’s and the school’s Instagram pages. A rich and informative program was prepared for all participants.
The grand opening began with a musical performance on the dombra, creating an atmosphere of celebration and inspiration. The event was also hosted by students of the School of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, who introduced guests to the activities of the School and spoke about the in-demand educational programs.
A welcoming speech was delivered to the students by Member of the board - Vice Rector for Strategic Development Nessipkaliyev Ulan Erengalievich, who highlighted the importance of training specialists in the field of digital technologies and emphasized the significance of making a conscious choice of a future profession.
Interactive quizzes dedicated to digital technologies and engineering sparked particular interest among the participants. School students actively answered questions and competed for branded prizes.
As part of the event, a prize draw was also held among participants who subscribed to the university’s and the School’s Instagram pages.
The Open Day concluded with a tour of the laboratories and classrooms. Students became acquainted with modern equipment, student projects, and the opportunities for studying in engineering and IT fields.
The Digital Spring Open Day became a vibrant platform for school students to explore the world of technology, science, and innovation, where each participant was able to take the first step toward choosing their future profession.
