In March within the walls of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State technical university was contest exhibition "Creativity of the Youth" where works of technical creativity of pupils from the town were presented.  The purpose of exhibition was to identify and support technical creativity of children and youth.  Annually this event brings together the best young masters of the regional center.

Children presented new scientific and technical development at an exhibition which created with their heads in common.  The first day began with a ceremonial opening where all participants and guests were welcomed by chief of SE "Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk" Alexander Kuznetsov.  In his performance he thanked children and teachers for their research activity and noted that heads of many participants of an exhibition are graduates of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State technical university.

School students watched the video about university, got propaganda materials and made an excursion to familiarize with the main building. Such events help to reveal talented youth and to create conditions for further intellectual and creative development, and also stimulate students of educational institutions to show interest to scientific and technical research, and scientific and research activity.
