On November 20, 2025, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU) hosted an Erasmus+ Information Day, organized in cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan. The event brought together representatives from the International Office, faculty deans, members of active and planned project teams, as well as individual proposers to discuss recent updates in the Erasmus+ application process and to share EKTU's successful experience in international projects.

The main objective of the Information Day was to inform university staff about the latest program updates, showcase best practices in implementing Erasmus+ projects, and provide guidance on preparing high-quality project proposals. Participants received detailed information on EKTU's current projects, including CirculEc, Edufusion, and DIANA, as well as insights into application procedures, evaluation criteria, and international project management practices.

As a result of the event, participants reinforced their practical knowledge and experience in international project management, expanded their professional networks, and enhanced EKTU's capacity to successfully participate in Erasmus+ grant programs.

The recommendations received and the contacts established during the event provide a solid foundation for implementing new international initiatives and contribute to strengthening the university's competitiveness on the global academic and research stage.
