We invite you on April 19, 2024 to take part in the eighth international scientific and practical conference «RUSSIA, SIBERIA AND CENTRAL ASIA: INTERACTION OF NATIONS AND CULTURES.»
The purpose of the conference is to consolidate the efforts of Russian and foreign scientists, teachers of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, teachers of secondary schools, young scientists, graduate students and undergraduates in discussing and analyzing current problems of historical and modern development and interaction between Russia and the Central Asian republics.
Topics of the conference issues discussed:
- Culture and religion of Central and inner Asia.
- Ethno-confessional, socio-demographic and regional problems of Central Asia (past and present).
- Internal development and international relations in Central Asia and adjacent territories: history and modernity.
- History, historiography and modern development of Western China.
- Cultural interaction of the peoples of Siberia and Central Asia in the past and present.
- Problems of teaching the history of Central Asian countries in higher and secondary schools.
Based on the results of the conference, the collection of materials is going to be published. The collection of conference materials is planned to be posted on the platform of the Scientific Electronic Library http://elibrary.ru (RSCI)
Travel, accommodation and travel expenses are at the expense of the sending party. Please inform us in advance if you need to make a hotel reservation.
Conditions for publication in the collection of materials:
The article should not exceed 6 pages.
Document format: page format - A4 without putting pages, headers and footers and hyphens; margins - 2 cm on each side; font - Times New Roman, size 14, spacing 1.5. Paragraph indent - 1.25 cm.
Tables and figures are allowed in the text. Images used in the article must be clear, black and white, in jpg, gif, bmp format.
Tables and figures with the sheet rotated are not allowed. Each table should be located after the link to it (Table 1) and should have a number and title. The width of the table should not be larger than the typing width. References to tables in the text are required. If an article has one table, it is not numbered. The table signature is at the top, font Times New Roman 11, centered. Signature of the figure - below, Times New Roman 11 font, center alignment.
The list of references is drawn up in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008,
It is compiled in the order of mention (links) in the text and must be numbered. Links in the text of the article are indicated in square brackets: the position number in the list and the page/sheet number in the source. For instance: [5, p. 25], [8, l. 135].
The UDC index is indicated in the upper left corner. Next - information about the author(s) (font 14, bold italics, centered): Full name, degree, title, position, place of work, email address. Next is the title of the article (in capital letters, font 14, bold italics, centered). Next - an abstract of no more than 300 characters in Russian and English and keywords related to the content of the article (5-9 words or phrases) in Russian and English.
Articles that do not meet the requirements and the topic of the conference may be rejected.
