During the period from February 20 to March 24, the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, announced the Republican competition for the best scientific work of students in natural, technical and human sciences "Scientists of the Future". It should be noted that the Republican competition of scientific works is held annually and consists of two rounds.

The competition was participated by 152 students of bachelor and master programs, who presented 116 scientific projects including 87 individual and 29 collective works. Scientific work were presented by students of 20 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The laureates of the Contest were 20 scientific projects.

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition for the best scientific work was held at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.

The winner was master student of the 1 course of specialty 6M073000 "Production of building materials, products and structures" of Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering of D. Serikbayev EKSTU, Alena Pimenova. The topic of scientific project was “Use of optimization methods and statistical analysis to ensure the quality of building materials using the example of concrete composite.” Scientific consultants: the lecturer of the "Water and Forest Resources" Department, Sergey Lutai, and the master of industrial training of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, Anastasia Lutai.

Under their guidance, undergraduates for the third year in a row have become laureates of this competition.

The winner was awarded the medal of the laureate and a diploma, and the consultants received thank letter.
