The International Student Competition of Architectural and Construction Projects «STEEL2REAL'25» on the theme «Multi-storey residential building of tower type on steel frame» was announced in October 2024.The organizer of the competition is the «Association of Steel Construction Development Business Participants (CSDA)».

The first phase of the competition for architects, whose task was to develop a volumetric planning solution, ended on January 27, 2025, with the determination of finalists among the architects.

The second stage was held for designers who, based on the designs of the winning architects of the first stage of the competition, developed the structural part of the project. The results of the second stage were summed up on April 28, 2025. According to the results of the jury's evaluation, two participants and one student team reached the finals of the design competition. Among the winners of the second stage is our master's student of the Construction educational program Andrey Babichev.

Ahead of the final stage, which will be held in a face-to-face format in Moscow (Russia) on May 28, 2025.
