On 26 November 2025, a ceremony was held in Astana to honor 20 laureates of the State Youth Prize «Daryn» - young Kazakhstanis who have achieved significant success in culture, science, media and sports, as well as those implementing innovative projects that contribute to the development of various sectors and society as a whole.
Among the recipients of this high state award is Meruert Utegenova, Research Fellow at the Veritas Center of Excellence and postdoctoral researcher under the Zhas Galym programme at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (EKTU). She has been awarded the State Youth Prize «Daryn» of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the category Public Activity. The award recognizes her systematic work in developing youth initiatives, promoting a culture of social responsibility, and engaging EKTU students in addressing pressing socially significant issues.
