On 13 April at 4:30 pm an online webinar on the topic "Education Without Borders with EKSTU" was held by joint efforts of two universities - the D. Serikbayev EKSTU and NRNU MEPhI.

The participants at the NRNU MEPhI were the Vice-Rector of the NRNU MEPhI Leonova Tatyana Nikolaevna, curator of the "Materials Science" joint educational program at the INPhT Alexei Suchkov, Deputy Head of the training department of INTEL at the NRNU MEPhI and curator of the "Nanoelectronics" joint educational program Alexander Sergeyevich Bererenkov, Deputy Director of the BINP MEPhI Astapov Ivan Ivanovich, Head of the Office for Educational Activities and Organization of Admission to the University of the MEPhI Tsvetkov Igor Vladimirovich, Deputy Head of the Department of Education Export of the NRNU MEPhI Bobylo Andrey Mikhailovich and Deputy Head of the Training Department of the BINP NRNU MEPhI Shibaev Konstantin Igorevich.

The D. Serikbayev EKSTU was represented by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Work Konurbaeva Zhadyra Tusupkanova, Director of the Center for International Educational Programs and Head of Joint Educational Programs for Materials Science Segeda Tamara Alexandrovna, Dean of the School of Engineering Akaev Aibek Muratbekovich, Head of Electric Power Engineering and Nanoelectronics Joint Educational Programs and Senior Lecturer of the School of Engineering Sarsenova Aizhan Askarbekkyzy, the Head of the EKSTU Career Guidance Department Trofimenko Svetlana Alexandrovna, as well as the Secretary of the Selection Committee Dauylbaeva Assel Sovetbekkyzy.

The purpose of the webinar was to inform future high school graduates and present the double-degree joint educational programs, such as "Materials Science and Materials Technology of the Nuclear Industry" and "Power Engineering and Nanoelectronics".

This event provided an opportunity for participants to ask their questions and receive an advice directly from the two leading universities at once.

It is worth noting that this online webinar is a direct indicator of an effective use of distance learning.
