In late May, the delegation of the Pilsen Region of the Czech Republic visited D.Serikbayev EKSTU. This is the second visit of Czech representative to the University. The delegation from Pilsen Region was welcomed by the University in October, 2012 for the first time. This time the guests were aimed to have a constructive dialogue with the University Managers and Faculty Deans. After a traditional tour of University laboratories, the possibilities to develop further cooperation between the two Parties and specific areas of its extension were discussed.

In the course of the debate further way of interaction establishing were discussed in detail. Summing up the meeting results, Oleg Gavrylenko, Vice Rector for Science and International Cooperation, noted that the information set out in detail by the representatives of the Czech delegation shows that process has not stopped since the first visit, but it continues to develop. Currently, negotiations to conclude cooperation agreement with the University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic) are under way. Soon there will be a cooperation agreement between D.Serikbayev EKSTU and this University, as all conditions to promote fruitful and effective relationship with it were created.
