Students and a faculty member of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University have received an invitation to participate in the international academic mobility program NAWA PROM Programme for International Scholarship Exchange. Within the framework of this program, three representatives of the university will undertake a scientific internship at one of the leading universities in Poland — Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
Under the program, one bachelor’s student, one doctoral student, and one faculty member from the university have been invited.
Program participants include:
- Altai Yeltayuly Nurpeisov — a 2nd-year bachelor’s student of the School of Earth Sciences, enrolled in the educational program “Environmental Protection and Life Safety”, group 24-BZhK-1;
- Togzhan Shalkaruly Toktaganov — a doctoral student of the “Green Chemistry and Sustainable Development” educational program at the School of Earth Sciences;
- Zhanat Kabylbekovna Idrisheva — Professor of the School of Earth Sciences.
The purpose of the visit is to complete a scientific internship, exchange research experience, become familiar with modern research methods, and strengthen international academic cooperation.
The NAWA PROM Programme for International Scholarship Exchange is an international short-term academic mobility program implemented by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. Its main goal is to develop cooperation between universities from different countries and to support the academic mobility of students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff.
The program is implemented through co-funding from the Government of Poland and the European Union funds, which support the development of education, science, and international academic cooperation.
Participation of representatives of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University in this program contributes to strengthening international scientific partnerships, promoting knowledge exchange, and enhancing the academic potential of both students and faculty members.
